You can either take bus to Rishikesh or can opt for your own vehicle. If you are a group of 4-5 people and travelling by your own car then also you will end up paying 700-800 Rs per person. If you are opting bus then it is much cheaper. One can do the booking for volvo buses online as well. It will take 5-6 hrs to reach Rishikesh from Delhi. Once you reach Rishikesh you can proceed to your camp where a no. of activities will be waiting for you like volleyball, trekking, indoor games etc. You can chillax at your camp & enjoy these activities with your friends whole day. You will be served with lunch & dinner and you will enjoy the evening with bonfire. 

Day 2 or Sunday: Have a tasty breakfast & proceed for your rafting - an experience which is worthy of your every single penny spent on this trip. After that astounding experience you will be free to enjoy rest of the day at your leisure. You can either relax at the camp for a while or can visit few temples at Rishikesh or you can go to Haridwar to experience spirituality at Har ki Podi or Mansa Devi Temple. I would suggest to take out some time for experiencing Ganga Arti at Har Ki Podi in the evening before bidding adios to this wonderful weekend & starting your journey to home back. It is an amazing experience. But if you are only interested for fun & adventure then you can opt otherwise too.

Time to visit:
People visit this place throughout the year but summer is the best time. From April-June & September-November. Monsoons & winters are not advisable for rafting as it is risky that time but camping you can go for anytime.
